Excessive strain can result in loss of movement in the body. Reduced mobility increases the risk of injuries and can lead to suboptimal performance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Athletes ask more from their bodies, allowing incorrect movement patterns to manifest in decreased performance and\/or reduced comfort. If compensatory patterns persist over the long term, tissue damage or other injuries may occur. Teveel belasting kan leiden tot bewegingsverliezen in het lichaam. Verminderde beweeglijkheid vergroot de kans op blessures en kan leiden tot minder optimale prestaties.<\/p> <p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sporters vragen net iets meer van hun lichaam waardoor niet-correcte bewegingspatronen zich kunnen uiten in verminderde prestaties, en\/of verminderd comfort. Als compensatiepatronen langdurig aanhouden kan weefselschade (zoals artrose) of andere schade optreden.
